Metallic silver business cards are one of our specialities and we use the best materials to produce these. This includes a choice of different silver foil types, the use of high quality card (recycled or FSC), and engraved brass print plates (where required) to help ensure the most accurate reproduction of your designs and the cleanest print finish.

Metallic silver foil printing works well for business cards and wedding stationery and looks particularly striking on darker coloured cards or papers.

Silver foil types include: metallic silver foil, satin/sheen silver foil, brushed silver foil and iridescent (holographic) silver foils, as well as various other holographic silver foil variations.

We can also apply metallic silver foil print to colour printed cards, including: uncoated, coated and laminated card types.

These business cards were produced by printing the 4 colour designs digitally onto smooth white 300gsm Advocate stock.
This was then duplexed to 298gsm Urban Grey Loop stock and trimmed to size ready for the application of silver foil print.

These business cards were made by duplexing 270gsm Pristine White Colorplan to 270gsm Dark Grey Colorplan.
They were then trimmed to size and foil printed using a satin silver foil.

Duplexed 660gsm Black Plike was used for these business cards.
They were then foil printed using a satin silver foil.

These business cards were produced with digital black print on Pristine White Colorplan, which was then duplexed to Cobalt Colorplan and foil printed using an iridescent/holographic (rainbow) silver foil.

If you use darker card types with lighter shades of silver foil you'll get a great contrast, whilst creating a very professional looking finish.

Silver foil and litho print on 400gsm matt laminated (silk) stock.

Laminated cards have a smooth surface, which allows the foil to be as shiny as possible. If you want a really shiny foil, a laminated (or coated) stock is a good choice.
